Our Mission
At New Jersey Indian and International Film Festival (NJIIFF), our mission is to showcase the best in independent cinema from around the world. We believe that film has the power to inspire, educate and entertain, and we are committed to bringing the most innovative and thought-provoking works to our audiences.
Our Festival
The festival aims to:
- Strengthen creative and cultural connections between the two major film production markets of the United States and India
- Promote independent filmmakers by creating opportunities to reach wider and more diverse global audiences
- Showcase cultural diversity and celebrate the art and craft of filmmaking across genres and regions
- Create visibility and audience engagement for Indian regional cinema, with a focus on languages such as Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, and Telugu
- Encourage cross-cultural appreciation, dialogue, and artistic collaboration through film and related art forms
NJIIFF is an initiative of the Indian Arts & Culture Corporation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting arts, culture, and cinema.
